Office Humor: Road Warriors

At iD Tech Camps, quality is key. We claim to be the nation’s largest and most recommended technology camp on the map. We have to deliver. How do we do that? iD has a crack team of Regional Managers (including me, Jami) that spend the summer visiting each site, ensuring our summer staff are delivering  a top notch program to our students. We spend countless grueling hours fine tuning our dexterity at Guitar Hero, practicing our stamina by eating dorm food, organizing kick ball tournaments, and competing in fierce gaming tournaments against our students. Delivering a quality camp is a pain staking process. Life as a Regional Manger can be exhausting. Check out this video of one of our quality control site visits…

  1. Ensuring that our staff are following procedure is the most important aspect of our job. And at summer camps, procedure means fostering a fun atmosphere. Jami and I take pride in that part. And eating.

  3. I am looking for a quality tech camp environment for a six year old. I can provide recommendations from teachers across the educational spectrum that he is the real deal, and that I am not a mom blowing smoke up your bloomers about his abilities. Can you help? Is IDTech the answer? We have been SERIOUSLY disappointed in “Science” Camps held at S.M.U. in the past – hey, I can take him to the playground myself…Don’t call that a Science Camp, please. Can you help? Thanks!

  5. My son was at the ID Tech computer camp in Mesa, Arizona this summer for two weeks. HE LOVED IT!! The counselors were beyond amazing and my son was just in the zone there! Instead of nagging my son about being on the computer-I embraced it and he was able to make friends and learn a great deal about web design and computer game creation. Thank you ID Tech!!
