The holidays are upon us! In just two weeks we’ll be bidding adieu to 2012 and ringing in the New Year. There’s a lot to accomplish in 2013, and we’re ready to bring you some really exciting new stuff in our 15th season. But first, we’re doing our part to spread some holiday cheer!
Our annual Ugly Sweater Day took place recently, putting everyone in a festive mood (while eliciting a few laughs when we ventured outside of the office). Every style – from “Holiday Ugly” to “Really Ugly” to “Retro Ugly” – was represented in our contest. It was a close call, but there could only be one winner. Scroll through to find out who took the prize this year and dethroned Ryan’s awfully ugly sweater from 2011!
It’s us! Ready to surprise you at your neighborhood holiday party!
Sarah decided to meowbify her sweater.
1 part tank top, 1 part sweatshirt, 1 sprinkle holiday cheer = 1 great ugly sweater recipe
Congratulations, Roque! Yours was voted ugliest of them all!
Once we had answered the important question of who wore the ugliest sweater, the following week we got down to business and did some volunteer work for an organization that’s close to our hearts – Family Giving Tree.
Each year we hold a Holiday Wish Drive to gather presents for Bay Area kids in need, then we go one step further by dedicating time as “Holiday Warehouse Elves” – sorting gifts and organizing them for delivery throughout the Bay Area. We’ve done this for many years now and always have a great time in the process. Thank you to FGT and all the volunteers for making this possible.
Giving back to the community is a priority and an iD tradition that we hold close to our hearts. Striving to enrich our community through volunteerism is part of our mission.
