Want to put your own spin on your Facebook® or MySpace™ page? Want to build your very own website from scratch? Design and publish your website with the powerful yet user-friendly web editor Adobe® Dreamweaver® CS4 and Adobe® Flash® CS4, as well as Wacom® Pen Tablets and Adobe® Photoshop®.

You'll learn to hand-code HTML and learn color theory, creative text effects and how to design customized graphics using Adobe® Photoshop® CS4. Make your website pop with dynamic animations created with Flash. Design animated menus, rollovers and time-based effects, image galleries and more. Create your own website and have it published online using the latest versions of Dreamweaver CS4, Flash CS4 and Photoshop CS4. You will also use Wacom® Pen Tablets to easily edit your digital photos with precision control.

Skill Level, Ages & Tuition

No prerequisites are required. Customized for beginner to advanced learners ages 10-17. Curriculum is delivered in small student clusters and individually tailored to each student. All students will go home with a completed project at the end of the week.

Dreamweaver CS4 allows for the design of more sophisticated websites, and Flash CS4 has new 3D tools, lending true depth to your site. You will customize your images, graphics, and artwork with more ease in Adobe Photoshop® CS4.

Gaming Activities: Gaming Tournaments, Ultimate Gaming Weekends

General gameplay is a fun aspect of our summer camps, but does not infringe on instructional time. This season will feature Gaming Tournaments and Ultimate Gaming Weekends showcasing the industry’s best. We use NVIDIA® GeForce® gaming cards for peak gaming performance. Students will play BIG titles from Epic Games®, Activision®, Blizzard Entertainment®, THQ®, Microsoft® GameStudios™ and more. In order to offer the most cutting edge experience for our campers, we have adopted the policy of allowing the use of some select games with ESRB ratings of “E” for Everyone, “T” for Teen and “M” for Mature to be used as part of our curriculum in a supervised environment. We take our corporate responsibility and iD family values very seriously, but cannot guarantee that younger students will avoid complete contact with these games. Please know that we make every effort to minimize exposure to any games not appropriate for these age groups.

Cool Summer Camp Activities

Balance is the key to every week at iD. While we are in the labs a majority of the day, we certainly take time out for fun summer camp activities. Students may participate in ultimate frisbee, capture-the-flag, fun outdoor teambuilding games, soccer, etc. If sports are not your thing, no worries! We've got awesome gaming tournaments, Guitar Hero®, social time and more! Details.
