Our UC Berkeley and Stanford University locations are minutes away from the Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Alcatraz and Fisherman’s Wharf. McGill University in Montreal boasts majestic Mount Royal, old-world architecture, historic cathedrals and cobblestone streets. The city is often referred to as “the Paris of Canada.” Explore each region with fun, supervised excursions and visit nearby studios to see how the pros work. The Academy is a two-week, teen-only, overnight program. Graduate with a portfolio and the tools to excel in visual arts. These is our current line-up of courses for the season:
FILM PRODUCTION WITH FINAL CUT STUDIO®
Foster your creativity through documentary filmmaking. Students are introduced to the various stages of production from script writing, conducting interviews, camera techniques and video editing using industry standard software Apple Final Cut Studio (with Final Cut Pro 7®) and Adobe® After Effects®. PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY NEW!
Photographers see the world through a unique lens. Learn not only how to use the advanced technical features of your Digital SLR camera, but when to use them. Find the perfect balance between light, composition, exposure, shutter speed and aperture to create stunning digital images. Polish your portfolio by editing your photographs in Adobe Photoshop® and Lightroom®. Already own a DSLR camera?
