What is the age range?
Ultimate Gaming Weekends is a teen-specific weekend summer camp program for ages 13-17. Note: Students ages 10-12 may participate in Weekend Stays at Stanford University.

At which locations is the program offered?
iD Tech Camps is excited to be launching our Ultimate Gaming Weekends at select locations including Stanford, UCLA, Vassar College, Northwestern, Emory University, University of Central Florida, University of Denver, and many more. Find out more about each Ultimate Gaming Weekend location. Students enrolled in the iD Gaming Academy are also eligible to enroll in this weekend gaming program.

What games?
Students enrolled in Ultimate Gaming Weekends will play some of the hottest and most recognized game titles on the market including Unreal Tournament® 3, Battlefield® 2142, Warcraft 3®, Guitar Hero III™, and many more. We use NVIDIA GeForce® gaming cards for peak gaming performance. Play other BIG titles from Activision®, Epic Games®, Blizzard® Entertainment, Electronic Arts®, Microsoft® GameStudios™ and more.

What about rankings?
During open gaming time, you’ll be able to play the game you want, as much as you want. If you play our designated tournament game, you’ll have the chance to win the ultimate prize–an all-expense-paid trip to iD’s National Gaming Tournament held at UCLA for summer 2008. Our ranking ladder will be online, so you can share your top position with friends (and enemies) in real time! You’ll be able to check your ranking over the summer, so if you get displaced, you can sign up for another session and regain your throne!

Can I bring my own computer?
It is a LAN party, but you don’t have to bring a thing. We supply the games, computers and meals—all you need is your A game.

Are there prerequisites?
No! If you live to game, or want to learn more about gaming, our weekend gaming program is the perfect place for you.

How do I register?
It’s simple—Register for Overnight Camp at an iD Tech Camps Ultimate Gaming Weekend location. During the registration:

• Add Ultimate Gaming Weekends as a bridge between two weeks of overnight camp.

-or-

• Add Ultimate Gaming Weekends to the weekend after you attend camp. You cannot attend our weekend program before your first week of camp.

What's included?
Ultimate Gaming Weekends is fully supervised by iD Staff, and includes housing, meals, gaming, and other games on campus.

Can I register just for the weekend and not iD Tech Camps?
No—Ultimate Gaming Weekends is not a stand-alone program. Students can add it as a bridge between two weeks of overnight camp and/or to the weekend after they attend camp.

How much is it?
Weekend Gaming is $300 per weekend/camper.

Games Rated E, T, and M: Our Responsibility
iD Tech Camps is an industry leader in offering various technology courses, including courses and activities revolving around gaming. Some of our gaming curriculum is based on the most commercially successful gaming titles and gaming engines. In order to offer the most cutting edge experience for our campers, we have adopted the policy of allowing the use of some select games rated "T" for Teen and “M” for Mature to be used as part of our curriculum in a supervised environment. While we take our corporate responsibility and iD family values very seriously, we cannot guarantee that younger students will avoid complete contact with these games. By registering with iD Tech Camps, you understand and consent that Games with M and T Ratings will be used at camp.
