Program Overview
The Gaming Academy is a two-week, overnight, teen-only program. All graduates leave the Academy with a gaming portfolio and the tools to excel in the rapidly expanding field of game development. With ridiculously small classes sizes (maximum of 8 students per instructor) and professional level instruction, students gain valuable game development skills. Students will also tour a big-name studio and see how the pros work. Beyond the exposure to game industry essentials, students can expect late-night NVIDIA®-powered gaming tournaments with titles including Unreal Tournament® 3, Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™, Command & Conquer™ Red Alert™ 3, and a vast library of games from Valve® including Counter-Strike®, Half-Life® 2 and Left 4 Dead™.
Quick Facts
- Tuition (includes room, board, activities, instruction) is US $3,499 per two-week session.
- Weekend Stays (optional) cost $349 per weekend and are not included in the program tuition. Weekend Stays are highly recommended and most students enroll in them.
- Students can register for various courses and multiple sessions for a complete gaming experience.
- Commercial game studio tour included.
- A maximum of 8 students per instructor. Our small class sizes ensure 1-on-1 instruction.
- Required: A strong desire to pursue a career in, or learn more about, commercial Game Development or Professional Gaming.

Serious Gameplay & Gaming Tournaments
After each day’s instruction, we’ll learn from the experts by playing some of the most popular commercial games on the market. Beyond the exposure to game industry essentials, students can expect late-night NVIDIA®-hosted gaming tournaments (including multiplayer console tournaments during evening activities) with titles including Unreal Tournament® 3, Call of Duty® 4:Modern Warfare™, and a vast library of games from Valve® including Counter-Strike®, Half-Life® 2 and Left 4 Dead™, as well as LAN parties and instructional hours that begin later in the day, depending on the location. But don’t let the gameplay fool you, this is all part of the academy curriculum. Working on both team and personal projects from concept to completion, our teen camp graduates leave the academy with a gaming portfolio, cutting-edge software, and the tools to not only compete, but excel, in the rapidly expanding fields of game development and professional video gaming.

The iD Programming Academy offers 2–week sessions of intensive study in computer science programming. Gain a deep understanding of application development–and a broader knowledge of how programming can be applied to the real world. The iD Programming Academy is perfect for students with previous programming experience who are looking to take their code to a whole different level.
iD Visual Arts Academy, Ages 13-18

The iD Visual Arts Academy is a two-week, teen-only program. Learn courses in filmmaking, motion graphics, special effects and professional photography with top-tier equipment and software. All graduates leave the Academy with a portfolio and the tools to excel in the rapidly changing field of visual arts. Students will also take fun, supervised excursions and visit nearby studios to see how the pros work.
