WORK HARD, PLAY HARD!!

What better way to learn how commercial games are created than to fire up the most cutting edge titles and play! LAN parties are a big part of what makes the iD Gaming Academy so immersing. With industry leading names like NVIDIA®, Unreal Tournament® 3, Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ and Valve® Steam™ technology, you know you are in for many incredible nights of ducking, dodging and fragging.

Our Computer Gaming Tournaments use some of the hottest and most recognized game titles on the market, and all students will have opportunities for gameplay with local tournaments, as well as regional tournaments across Academy locations. We have partnered with NVIDIA to ensure the most cutting-edge network gaming possible and use NVIDIA GeForce® gaming cards for peak PC gaming performance. When we need to get out of our chairs for some console action, we’ll break out the Nintendo® Wii, Guitar Hero® or Xbox 360®.

Gaming Tournaments are an exciting element of our teen activities, but do not replace or infringe on instructional time. NOTE: Games in our Gaming Tournament are rated “T” for Teen and “M” for Mature and are selected at the sole discretion of iD Tech Camps staff.

	Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ is a first-person shooter game set in the near-future. It is the fourth installment in the Call of Duty series. Similar to previous games in the series, the player takes on the role of various characters while involvement in the plot occurs simultaneously and overlaps the events in the game. Players test their skills using powerful weapons and game strategy.
	Unreal Tournament® 3 marks the return of the world’s premiere first-person shooter to the PC. Unreal Tournament 3 unleashes the full power of Unreal Engine 3, taking graphics, gameplay, and challenge to a whole new level. Players engage in intense battles with other human players online, or against Unreal artificial intelligence that sets the industry standard. With the most powerful futuristic weapons and vehicles available, this is FPS action at its best!
	Team Fortress® 2 is the sequel to the game that put class-based, multiplayer team warfare on the map. TF2 delivers new gametypes, a signature art style powered by Valve’s next generation animation technology, persistent player statistics, and more
	Counter-Strike®: Source blends Counter-Strike’s award-winning teamplay action with advanced Source™ technology. Featuring state of the art graphics, all new sounds, and introducing physics, Counter-Strike: Source is a must-have for every action gamer.
	Half-Life® 2 defines a new benchmark in gaming with startling realism and responsiveness. Powered by Source™ technology, Half-Life 2 features the most sophisticated in-game characters ever witnessed, advanced AI, stunning graphics and physical gameplay.
	Day of Defeat: Source offers an intense brand of online gameplay set in the WWII European Theater of Operations. Players assume the role of light/assault/heavy infantry, sniper or machine-gunner class, and missions are based on historical operations. Day of Defeat: Source features enhanced graphics and sounds design to leverage the power of Source, Valve’s new engine technology.
	Also part of the Valve Corporation lineup, Left 4 Dead™ is an exciting multiplayer co-operative, first-person shooter horror game that has been built using Source™ technology. This highly-anticipated game pits four human playable or AI controlled survivors against hordes of the “Infected” with the goal of making it through various scenarios safely.

Games Rated T and M: Our Responsibility

The iD Gaming Academy is an industry leader in offering various technology courses, including courses and activities revolving around gaming. Some of our gaming curriculum is based on the most commercially successful gaming titles and gaming engines. In order to offer the most cutting edge experience for our campers, we have adopted the policy of allowing the use of some select games rated “T” for Teen and “M” for Mature to be used as part of our curriculum in a supervised environment.
