About University of Denver

We have chosen University of Denver to host our summer kids’ computer camps, academic camps and teen camps in Colorado. Founded in 1864, the University of Denver is the oldest independent university in the Rocky Mountains. Located in a dynamic, cosmopolitan city close to pristine mountain wilderness, the university is distinguished by its creative combination of liberal arts and professional programs, selectively focused graduate studies, and associated schools and centers. University of Denver’s campus has a mixture of historic and modern buildings. With fountains and a meandering stream, the University of Denver Harper Humanities Gardens offer a lush oasis in the heart of this 124-acre, tree-shaded campus.

University of Denver is located just 8 miles south of downtown Denver, 15 miles to the mountains and only 45 minutes from Denver International Airport.

About Our Courses

We teach the coolest courses including video game design, Flash animation, programming, video editing, and more–using the best brand name products from Adobe^®, Apple^®, Autodesk^®, Canon^®, Microsoft^® and beyond. Come explore the college campus and gain technical skills that will last long after summer camp ends. Do something big.

Our students receive the highest caliber technology education any technology summer camp has to offer! Our method of project-based learning highlights our 1-on-1 instruction, and above all, is loads of fun. Students learn at their own pace in small groups of an average of 6 students per instructor (compared to 30 students in an average classroom). Students at iD are taught only by hand-selected adult staff.

Camp Activities for Kids & Teens

Age appropriate fun for kids 7-12 and teens 13-17. Students will receive an average of 5-6 hours of technical instruction per day mixed with breaks, lunch, and fun camp activities we like to call TechReation. Participation in activities is encouraged, but optional. Physical activities may include ultimate frisbee, capture-the-flag, fun teambuilding games, soccer, etc., and other camp activities like Guitar Hero III^TM, video gaming tournaments, social time and more. Each week wraps up with family showcase at 2:00 PM on Friday. Check out the cool projects created by students, meet the instructor, and attend our diploma ceremony.

Attention Colorado Teens! Our summer camps in Colorado just got even cooler for our teen students. We have specialized teen activities including free time to hang out, movie nights, extra project time, and as always, plenty of gaming.
