iD Tech Camps invites you to join us for our first season at our Harvard University location in Cambridge, MA. Our summer kids camps and teen camps are designed for beginner to advanced learners. Our popular Harvard University summer day camps and overnight camps average 6 students per instructor for customized instruction delivered by highly trained adult-only staff. Founded in 1636, 16 years after the arrival of the Pilgrims at Plymouth, Harvard University is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. Since then Harvard has grown from nine students with a single master to an enrollment of more than 18,000 degree candidates, including undergraduates and students in 10 principal academic units.

We offer a variety of cutting edge summer camp courses for teens including video game design, Flash animation, programming, video editing, and more–using the best brand name products from Adobe®, Apple®, Autodesk®, Microsoft® and beyond. We have chosen Harvard University to host our summer teen camps in the Boston area because of the school’s unparalleled reputation as one of the best universities in the nation, and maybe even the world. Established in 1636, Harvard is rich with tradition and history and has graduated some of the most recognizable names in the history of the United States, making it the perfect summer camp location. 2010 will be iD Tech Camps inaugural season at the esteemed university. Getting to Campus: Our specific location on campus at this Massachusetts summer camp, along with maps and driving directions, will be found in your Camp Account after you register. If you are flying into Boston’s Logan Airport, Harvard is only a short fifteen minute subway or taxi ride away.

Camp Activities for Teens

Our Cambridge summer camp provides age appropriate fun for teens ages 13-18. Students will receive an average of 5-6 hours of technical instruction per day mixed with breaks, lunch, and fun camp activities we like to call TechReation. Participation in activities is encouraged, but optional. Physical activities at our Harvard summer camps may include ultimate frisbee, capture-the-flag, fun teambuilding games, soccer, etc., and other camp activities like Guitar Hero®, video gaming tournaments, social time and more. Each week at this summer camp for teen girls and boys wraps up with family showcase at 2:00 PM on Friday. Check out the cool projects created by students, meet the instructor, and attend our diploma ceremony.

Attention Harvard Teens! Our summer camps in Massachusetts at Harvard University just got even cooler for our teen students. We have specialized teen activities including free time to hang out, extra project time, and as always, plenty of gaming. Check out our other cool teen-only programs like the iD Gaming Academy, iD Visual Arts Academy, iD Programming Academy and Ultimate Gaming Weekends (offered at select locations).

Weekend Stays

Stay the Weekend at iD this Summer!

Weekend Stays and Ultimate Gaming Weekends are offered at many iD locations.

Weekend Stays / Ultimate Gaming Weekends are great options for students looking to bridge the gap between two weeks of camp or for students who want to stay and game with us the weekend following their camp week.

Overnight students ages 12-17 at iD Tech Camps, as well as those registered for our Teen Academies (ages 13-18), can bridge the weekend between consecutive overnight camp weeks. As an exception, overnight students ages 10-17 at Stanford University may also participate. The cost is $349 per weekend and is all-inclusive (housing, meals, supervision, gaming, activities, etc). This offering only applies to overnight students and is not stand-alone.

Not a serious gamer? We’ve got you covered. You can take it easy in the labs, play retro games, read a book, play outdoor sports, or just keep a low profile.
