About Smith College
We have chosen Smith College to host our academic kids summer camps and teen camps in Massachusetts because it is one of the top liberal arts colleges in the nation. Smith College is brimming with academic options. Together with four nearby campuses - Amherst College, Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke College and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst - Smith has helped to form one of the oldest, most highly regarded consortiums in American higher education.Our summer camps in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts, New England are located in the spirited city of Northampton in the heart of the Connecticut River Valley. The closest airport is Bradley International about 35 miles south near Hartford.

About Our Courses
We teach the coolest courses including video game design, Flash animation, programming, video editing, and more–using the best brand name products from Adobe®, Apple®, Autodesk®, Canon®, Microsoft® and beyond. Come explore the college campus and gain technical skills that will last long after summer camp ends. Do something big.Our students receive the highest caliber technology education any technology summer camp has to offer! Our method of project-based learning highlights our 1-on-1 instruction, and above all, is loads of fun. Students learn at their own pace in small groups of an average of 6 students per instructor (compared to 30 students in an average classroom). Students at iD are taught only by hand-selected adult staff.

Camp Activities for Kids & Teens
Age appropriate fun for kids 7-12 and teens 13-17. Students will receive an average of 5-6 hours of technical instruction per day mixed with breaks, lunch, and fun camp activities we like to call TechReation. Participation in activities is encouraged, but optional. Physical activities may include ultimate Frisbee, capture-the-flag, fun teambuilding games, soccer, etc., and other camp activities like Guitar Hero IIITM, video gaming tournaments, social time and more. Each week wraps up with family showcase at 2:00 PM on Friday. Check out the cool projects created by students, meet the instructor, and attend our diploma ceremony.Attention Smith College Teens! Our summer camps in Massachusetts just got even cooler for our teen students. We have specialized teen activities including free time to hang out, movie nights, extra project time, and as always, plenty of gaming. Check out our other cool teen-only programs like the iD Gaming Academy, iD Film Academy, iD Programming Academy and Ultimate Gaming Weekends.
