About Fordham University

Our New York City camp students enjoy the full iD Tech Camps experience with our day camps and overnight camps at Fordham University in the Bronx. This is a gorgeous university campus. You will feel worlds away from the city when surrounded by the magnificent Gothic buildings of the Rose Hill Campus, the second largest green campus in New York City.

Founded in 1841, Fordham University was the first Catholic institution of higher learning in the Northeast. Our summer academic camps for kids and teens are held at the Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx-Fordham University’s main campus in New York City. The campus is less than 20 minutes from Grand Central Station via the Metro-North Railroad and is also accessible by New York City subways and buses. About Our Courses

We teach the coolest courses including video game design, Flash animation, programming, video editing, and more–using the best brand name products from Adobe^®, Apple^®, Autodesk^®, Canon^®, Microsoft^® and beyond. Come explore the college campus and gain technical skills that will last long after summer camp ends. Do something big.

Our students receive the highest caliber technology education any technology summer camp has to offer! Our method of project-based learning highlights our 1-on-1 instruction, and above all, is loads of fun. Students learn at their own pace in small groups of an average of 6 students per instructor (compared to 30 students in an average classroom). Students at iD are taught only by hand-selected adult staff.

Camp Activities for Kids & Teens

Age appropriate fun for kids 7-12 and teens 13-17. Students will receive an average of 5-6 hours of technical instruction per day mixed with breaks, lunch, and fun camp activities we like to call TechReation. Participation in activities is encouraged, but optional. Physical activities may include ultimate Frisbee, capture-the-flag, fun teambuilding games, soccer, etc., and other camp activities like Guitar Hero III^TM, video gaming tournaments, social time and more. Each week wraps up with family showcase at 2:00 PM on Friday. Check out the cool projects created by students, meet the instructor, and attend our diploma ceremony.

Attention New York Teens! Our summer camps in New York at Fordham University just got even cooler for our teen students. We have specialized teen activities including free time to hang out, movie nights, extra project time, and as always, plenty of gaming.
