iD Tech Camps invites you to join us for our 3rd season at our Vanderbilt University location in the Nashville area of TN. iD Tech Camps is America’s #1 summer computer camp and one of a handful of elite summer camps in Tennessee. Our summer kids camps and teen camps are designed for beginner to advanced learners. About Vanderbilt University

We have chosen to host our summer academic computer camps for kids and teens at Vanderbilt University because it is one of America’s top 20 universities. Vanderbilt is a renowned private research university. iD Tech Camps students will live and move comfortably among ancient magnolias, sweeping lawns, and buildings that balance Victorian dignity with high-tech elegance.

About Our Courses

We teach the coolest courses including video game design, Flash animation, programming, video editing, and more–using the best brand name products from Adobe^®, Apple^®, Autodesk^®, Canon^®, Microsoft^® and beyond. Come explore the college campus and gain technical skills that will last long after summer camp ends. Do something big.

Our students receive the highest caliber technology education any technology summer camp has to offer! Our method of project-based learning highlights our 1-on-1 instruction, and above all, is loads of fun. Students learn at their own pace in small groups of an average of 6 students per instructor (compared to 30 students in an average classroom). Students at iD are taught only by hand-selected adult staff.

Camp Activities for Kids & Teens

Age appropriate fun for kids 7-12 and teens 13-17. Students will receive an average of 5-6 hours of technical instruction per day mixed with breaks, lunch, and fun camp activities we like to call TechReation. Participation in activities is encouraged, but optional. Physical activities may include ultimate Frisbee, capture-the-flag, fun teambuilding games, soccer, etc., and other camp activities like Guitar Hero III^TM, video gaming tournaments, social time and more. Each week wraps up with family showcase at 2:00 PM on Friday. Check out the cool projects created by students, meet the instructor, and attend our diploma ceremony.

Attention Tennessee Teens! Our summer camps in Tennessee at Vanderbilt University just got even cooler for our teen students. We have specialized teen activities including free time to hang out, movie nights, extra project time, and as always, plenty of gaming. Ultimate Gaming Weekends (UGW) (Ages 12-17)
UGW is a weekend summer program for teens enrolled at select iD Tech Camps locations. UGW Gamers will be immersed in the dynamic and exciting world of video gaming. Playing some of the hottest games on the market, students will practice and compete on machines complete with blazing NVIDIA GeForce® video cards. Students will also be introduced to tactics and strategies developed by professional gamers for use in some of the most competitive and popular PC games. Read more.
