iD Tech Camps invites you to join us for our 2nd season at our University of the Incarnate Word location in San Antonio, Texas. iD Tech Camps is America's #1 summer computer camp and one of a handful of elite summer camps in Texas. Our summer kids camps and teen camps are designed for beginner to advanced learners. Our popular summer day camps and overnight camps in San Antonio average 6 students per instructor for customized instruction delivered by highly trained adult-only staff.

About University of the Incarnate Word

The first Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, three young French women, came to San Antonio in 1869 to minister to the sick and the poor. Their spirit of service is perpetuated in the University of the Incarnate Word primarily through teaching and scholarship. In addition to being located in one of the most picturesque parts of the city, Incarnate Word's 154-acre campus is just minutes from downtown San Antonio. The area is filled with a variety of tourist attractions including the Witte Museum, the McNay Art Museum, the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, and Brackenridge Park. Brackenridge Park is home to the San Antonio Zoo and the Japanese Tea Gardens, and is filled with trails and other scenic areas.

About Our Courses

We teach the coolest courses including video game design, Flash animation, programming, video editing, and more®using the best brand name products from Adobe^®, Apple^®, Autodesk^®, Canon^®, Microsoft^® and beyond. Come explore the college campus and gain technical skills that will last long after summer camp ends. Do something big.

Our students receive the highest caliber technology education any technology summer camp has to offer! Our method of project-based learning highlights our 1-on-1 instruction, and above all, is loads of fun. Students learn at their own pace in small groups of an average of 6 students per instructor (compared to 30 students in an average classroom). Students at iD are taught only by hand-selected adult staff.

Camp Activities for Kids & Teens

Age appropriate fun for kids 7-12 and teens 13-17. Students will receive an average of 5-6 hours of technical instruction per day mixed with breaks, lunch, and fun camp activities we like to call TechReation. Participation in activities is encouraged, but optional. Physical activities may include ultimate frisbee, capture-the-flag, fun teambuilding games, soccer, etc., and other camp activities like Guitar Hero III^TM, video gaming tournaments, social time and more. Each week wraps up with family showcase at 2:00 PM on Friday. Check out the cool projects created by students, meet the instructor, and attend our diploma ceremony.

Attention Texas Teens! Our summer camps in Texas at University of the Incarnate Word just got even cooler for our teen students. We have specialized teen activities including free time to hang out, extra project time, and as always, plenty of gaming.
