Join us for our 3rd season at our University of the Incarnate Word location in San Antonio, Texas. iD Tech Camps is North America’s #1 summer computer camp and one of a handful of elite summer camps in Texas. Our summer kids camps and teen camps are designed for beginner to advanced learners. Our popular summer day camps in San Antonio average 6 students per instructor for customized instruction delivered by highly trained adult-only staff. In addition to being located in one of the most picturesque parts of the city, Incarnate Word’s 154-acre campus is just minutes from downtown San Antonio. The area is filled with a variety of tourist attractions including the Witte Museum, the McNay Art Museum, the San Antonio Botanical Gardens, and Brackenridge Park.

The first Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, three young French women, came to San Antonio in 1869 to minister to the sick and the poor. Athletics: UIW’s is home to a phenomenal synchronized swimming team which placed in the 2006 U.S. Collegiate Championships. UIW men’s and women’s soccer teams continue to also be nationally recognized, winning many of the Heartland Conference championships. UIW men’s Cross Country, for the first time since the school’s inception, placed first in the 2008 Heartland Conference meet with a score of 29 points, 32 points ahead of second place; 6 of the members were All-Conference.

Camp Activities for Kids & Teens
Age appropriate fun for kids 7-12 and teens 13-17. Students will receive an average of 5-6 hours of technical instruction per day mixed with breaks, lunch, and fun camp activities we like to call TechReation. Participation in activities is encouraged, but optional. Physical activities at this Texas academic summer camp may include ultimate frisbee, capture-the-flag, fun teambuilding games, soccer, etc., and other camp activities like Guitar Hero®, video gaming tournaments, social time and more. Each week at these summer day camps in San Antonio TX wraps up with family showcase at 2:00 PM on Friday. Attention Texas Teens! Our summer camps in Texas at University of the Incarnate Word just got even cooler for our teen students. We have specialized teen activities including free time to hang out, extra project time, and as always, plenty of gaming. Weekend Stays
Stay the Weekend at iD this Summer!
Weekend Stays and Ultimate Gaming Weekends are offered at many iD locations.
Weekend Stays / Ultimate Gaming Weekends are great options for students looking to bridge the gap between two weeks of camp or for students who want to stay and game with us the weekend following their camp week.
Overnight students ages 12-17 at iD Tech Camps, as well as those registered for our Teen Academies (ages 13-18), can bridge the weekend between consecutive overnight camp weeks. As an exception, overnight students ages 10-17 at Stanford University may also participate. The cost is $349 per weekend and is all-inclusive (housing, meals, supervision, gaming, activities, etc). This offering only applies to overnight students and is not stand-alone.
Not a serious gamer? We’ve got you covered. You can take it easy in the labs, play retro games, read a book, play outdoor sports, or just keep a low profile.
