2010 will mark the 2nd season for the iD Programming Academy, and the 12th season for iD Tech Camps.  We launched the iD Programming Academy in the summer of 2009 because we had so much interest in advanced programming and application development from our students.  The iD Programming Academy is an intensive, immersive 2-week program for students who love to code – and want to take their skills to the next level.

Quick Facts

  • Available at Stanford University and MIT.
  • 2-week intensive programming camp for teens ages 13-18.
  • Cost is US $3,299 per 2-week program, and includes room, board, instruction and activities. Check our site for special promotions.
  • Weekend stays (optional, but recommended) cost $349 and include room, board, field trips and project time.
  • An average of 8 students per instructor.
  • Space is limited and availability is first-come, first-served.
  • Required: A strong desire to pursue a career in programming. Some courses may have prerequisites. Please visit our course page for specific details.

iD Tech Camps (Ages 7-17)
These are weeklong courses.  iD Tech Camps is North America’s #1 Tech Camp, celebrating our 12th season! We offer hands-on summer technology camps for beginner to advanced students ages 7-17 at over 60 prestigious summer camps nationwide. Courses include Programming in C++/Java, Programming iPhone® Apps, RoboContenders, 2D & 3D Video Game Design, Game Modding, Character Modeling, Video Editing, Digital Photography, Web Design & Flash® Animation and more.

iD Gaming Academy (Ages 13-18)
Now in its 5th season, the iD Gaming Academy offers multiple 2-weeks sessions of intensive study in the dynamic world of video game creation, game programming and game modeling. Using powerful, industry-standard applications like Autodesk® Maya®, Adobe® Photoshop® and the Unreal® Engine 3, this program is taught by top tier instructors with demonstrated game creation experience.

iD Visual Arts  Academy (Ages 13-18)
We offer an intensive 2-week teen visual arts academy. Using the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area or Montreal as a backdrop, students will be taught by top tier instructors with professional filmmaking, photography and web design experience.
