Program Overview
2012 will mark the 4th season for the iD Programming Academy, and the 14th season for iD Tech Camps. We launched the iD Programming Academy in the summer of 2009 because we had so much interest in advanced programming and application development from our students–and the need for intensive summer programming classes for teens was clear. Classes devoted to skill development in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) are at the heart of the iD Programming Academy. The iD Programming Academy is an intensive, immersive, 2-week program for students who love to code–or want to learn to code–and want to take their skills to the next level.
Come learn from talented, energetic faculty who share a passion for computer science. The setting is fun, non-competitive, and unlike school–but you’ll learn a ton!

- 2-week intensive programming camp for teens ages 13-18.
- Cost is US $3,499 per 2-week program, and includes room, board, instruction and activities. Check our site for special promotions.
- Weekend stays (optional, but recommended) cost $349 and include room, board, field trips and project time.
- A maximum of 8 students per instructor. Guaranteed.
- Space is limited and availability is first-come, first-served.

iD Gaming Academy, Ages 13-18
TWO-WEEKS | CO-ED | OVERNIGHT ONLY | TEEN-ONLY | INTENSIVE PRE-COLLEGE EXPERIENCE IN VIDEO GAME DEVELOPMENT
The iD Gaming Academy offers a 2–week intensive program in the dynamic worlds of game development, game programming, level design and 3D modeling. Academy courses are geared for beginner to advanced teens ages 13-18. Use industry-standard applications like Autodesk® Maya®, Adobe® Photoshop®, XNA® for the Xbox 360®, Unreal® Development Kit (UDK), and the Unity game development tool as part of our video game camp for teens. Ready to learn from top faculty, creating your own game development portfolio? You’ll also tour a major game development studio.
iD Visual Arts Academy, Ages 13-18
TWO-WEEKS | CO-ED | OVERNIGHT AND DAY | TEEN-ONLY | INTENSIVE PRE-COLLEGE EXPERIENCE IN FILM PRODUCTION, SPECIAL EFFECTS AND PHOTOGRAPHY
The iD Visual Arts Academy is a two-week, teen-only program. Learn courses in filmmaking, motion graphics, special effects and professional photography with top-tier equipment and software. All graduates leave the Academy with a portfolio and the tools to excel in the rapidly changing field of visual arts. Students will also take fun, supervised excursions and visit nearby studios to see how the pros work.
