Teen Modding Camp: Course Description
This year students in Game Modding ll will mod a critically acclaimed series from a major gaming publisher! In this teen summer camp course, iD "modders" will "upgrade" and redesign Unreal Tournament 3, one of the biggest gaming titles in the industry. The skills learned will apply equally to any game in the series.

The level editor is easy to use for beginners yet offers immense depth and complexity for more advanced students. The technology is actually used by a large number of cutting-edge game development studios for their own games! As you learn to create levels, you will also gain valuable level-design skills that can be directly leveraged in the growing and lucrative game development industry. From tactical team-based combat in warfare or capture-the-flag, to the entirely cooperative campaign mode…imagination is your only limit. Using Logitech® microphones, students may create their own customized sounds for their games.

Who should take this course?
Any gamer serious about personalizing and modifying popular existing game titles should consider this teen video game camp course. We recommend enrolling in Game Modding l first. This summer camp for teens is literally a dream for many gaming enthusiasts. This course is designed for teen students of all skill levels and backgrounds. Students with programming experience may be able to create mutators to alter game play! 3D modelers may be able to import their own objects, power ups, or even weapons.

We suggest that students first take Video Game Creation, 3D Game Design l or Game Modding l prior to enrolling in Game Modding ll, as either of these 3 courses will introduce students to the fundamentals. However, these are not a requirement for enrollment in Game Modding ll.
