Overnight Summer Camps
(Jump to Day Camp & Extended Day Camp pages)
Whether you are interested in Overnight Camp (Sleep Away Camp) or Day Camp (Commuting Camp), iD has options! Camps vary by location, so be sure to check for availability at your specific college or university of interest. We offer coed overnight summer camps for both kids and teens (with roommates of the same gender). To get a better idea of what a day or week at iD Tech Camps would entail, please view our sample day or sample week pages.
We also have two-week, teen-only summer camps, such as the iD Gaming Academy, the iD Programming Academy, and the iD Visual Arts Academy. Our summer programs offer many traditional camp activities in addition to time spent on the computer – find out what to bring!

OVERNIGHT CAMPSAges 10-17 | CHECK-IN: 6PM SUN. PICK-UP: 3:30PM-5PM FRI (VARIES BY SITE). |
This option is for ages 10+. The ultimate collegiate experience! Overnight campers stay in student housing on campus and eat meals in the dining hall, starting with Sunday dinner – Friday lunch. |
Please Note: Overnight campers must be age 10+. No exceptions, please.
*You can save $50 off each additional week of overnight camp.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included for overnight camp students. Meals will be provided by the university dining hall.
Activities: Overnight summer camp students will have many evening activities to choose from. Activities vary by location. Students will spend approximately 5 hours on the computer each day (exception-Robotics Engineering with VEX®). Computer time is split up by breaks, lunch, and camp activity time, which we like to call Tech-Reation. Tech-Reation activities vary by age group and may include ultimate Frisbee, capture the flag, team-building games, campus exploration, or organized sports like soccer, volleyball, and basketball, just to name a few. For those students less interested in physical sports, we will also provide board and card games during this time.
Roommates: Sleep away summer camp students have the option of requesting a specific roommate upon registration; if none is specified, we make every effort to room each student with another camper near their same age. Boys and girls will typically be housed on separate floors or opposite wings of the dormitory. If your child is between the age of 10-12 and you have requested a teenage roommate, please contact our Client Services Department at 1-888-709-TECH (8324), option 1 to make special rooming arrangements.
Supervision: Our entire staff has undergone multiple background checks, and overnight staff will be on hand to supervise students throughout the night and lead evening activities. We have a maximum 8:1 student to staff ratio during evening hours and our staff will stay in the dorms along with the students; in separate rooms of course.
