Summer Day Camps & Extended Day Camps

Whether you are interested in our Day Camp (Commuting Camp) or Overnight Camp (Sleep Away Camp), iD has a number of summer options! Our summer camps for kids and teens vary by location, so be sure to check for availability at your specific college or university of interest. Day camp is a great option for younger campers and for those not wanting to stay overnight. To get a better idea of what a day or week at iD Tech Camps would entail, please view our sample day or sample week pages. Make new friends, explore a college campus, and eat in dining halls. New Flex Hours! At check-in and check-out there is an hour of flex time – a convenience for commuting parents. |
Please note, you can save $50 off each additional week.
Meals: Meals are not included with the standard summer Day Camp option. However, you may choose to add lunch at the time of registration for $55 per week. Students who purchase our lunch plan will eat in the university dining halls on campus.
Please note: Many universities do not allow outside food into their dining facilities. In these instances, students bringing bag lunches will likely eat outdoors along with other students and staff members. All students are supervised during lunchtime.
Activities: iD Tech Camps students will spend approximately of 5 hours on the computer each day (exception-Robotics Engineering with VEX®). Computer time is split up by breaks, lunch, and camp activity time, which we like to call Tech-Reation. Tech-Reation activities vary by age group and may include ultimate Frisbee, capture the flag, team-building games, campus exploration, or organized sports like soccer, volleyball, and basketball, just to name a few. For those students less interested in physical sports, we will also provide board and card games during this time.

For commuting parents who need a bit of extra time, we offer extended camp hours. Our extended day program runs from 7:30AM to 7PM and includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. |
Please note, you can save $50 off each additional week.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included for Extended Day students. Meals will be provided by the university dining hall. Extended Day students will join our Overnight campers for breakfast upon morning check-in and will accompany our Overnight students to the dining hall for dinner in the evening.

Additionally, we have other cool teen-only overnight programs, such as the elite iD Gaming Academy, the iD Visual Arts Academy, and the iD Programming Academy.
Family Showcase
Who’s Invited? Each week iD Tech Camps cordially invites our campers’ family and friends to tour our labs, meet our staff and experience projects created by our students. This event is the perfect opportunity to experience the excitement of camp and provide instant feedback to us. Family Showcase is held every Friday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM (at most locations). Details will be provided on your first day of camp, including the exact location of Family Showcase at your specific campus.
