If you are a discerning parent, you want to know what you are getting ahead of time.  In the summer camp business, a lot of camps claim “small ratios” and “low ratios”; but, then you get to camp and the ratios are a little “bigger” than you expected.  It is understandable that summer camps are cutting costs and maximizing ratios in a tough economic climate.  But we do things differently.

12 years ago, iD Tech Camps wanted to focus on quality technology education.  We wanted to “average just 6 students per instructor” to maximize personalized, 1-on-1 instruction.  Fast forward, and we are still one of the only camps that publishes its ratio.  And now we guarantee it.

The ratio guarantee is one more way in which iD does things a little differently.  Quality was the name of the game back in 1999.  And, quality still matters, perhaps now more than ever.  Here’s our guarantee.

The iD Guarantee:

We average 6 students per instructor at iD Tech Camps.  If, during the participant’s course instructional hours, we should go beyond 8 students per instructor (9 or greater) for two or more consecutive days in a given week, the participant gets to return for a free week of camp at equal value.  It’s that simple!  It’s iD quality.  And it’s only at iD Tech Camps!  Not valid for our multi-week Teen Academies.

The Not-So-Fine Print:

The participant may return for a make-up session during the same summer or receive a voucher for the upcoming summer.  The week is transferable to siblings.  Nominal fluctuations in the ratio during one day of your session will not qualify for a make-up session.  The guarantee is valid at iD Tech Camps and does not apply to the multi-week iD Teen Academies.  For make-up sessions that are designated with “no space” or “sold out” on our website,  you will be placed at the top of the waiting list and may opt to wait for a space to become available, or select from another session or location.
