iD 365 is live! And it’s FREE! Our year-round online workshops are taught by tech-savvy iD faculty, and are complimentary to iD alumni and students enrolled for the current season. Want to learn before summer camp starts, and after summer camp ends? Now you can!
We’ve had hundreds of requests from parents and students asking, “How can I keep learning?” You can now learn cool technologies and get your questions answered even when camp is not in session.

Recreating Popular Game Styles in Fusion: Tower Defense
Recreate in Fusion the popular style of casual games known as Tower Defense. Focusing on a different play style for Fusion, we’ll introduce buildings and waves of enemies to recreate this common Flash game genre.

In this workshop we’ll cover the process from start to finish including finding hosting, picking and installing a theme, and administering your blog. No special software is needed.

Flash Animation (Tweening) Via Programming
In Flash there are always many paths to the same goal and in this workshop we’ll focus on animating without using the timeline. Rather than use traditional animation techniques, we’ll use Flash Actionscript 2/3 in combination with the TweenLite Library from Greensock. This alternative focuses on programmatic rather than traditional animating principles, and is particularly useful for applications like Flash ads, banners, and games.
